The G20 Presidency will be assumed by India on 1 st December 2022 from Indonesia.
The G20 logo was designed based on the vibrant colours of the Indian national flag - saffron, white, green, and blue.
As the national flower of India, the lotus symbolizes growth in the face
of challenges.
A harmonious relationship with nature is evident on earth, reflecting India's pro-planet approach to life.
"Bharat" is written in Devanagari below the G20 logo.

A new chatbot, known as Aadhaar Mitra, has been launched by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).
It allows users to track the progress of Aadhaar PVC cards and confirm Aadhaar enrolment date statuses via the chatbot.
Using UIDAI Chatbot, users can get quick and automatic responses related to Aadhaar.
The chatbot is available in Hindi and in English language.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced the ‘Uttarakhand Gaurav Samman’ award.
This award is one of the two highest civilian awards in the state, along with the Uttarakhand Ratna.
This year's "Uttarakhand Gaurav Samman" will be presented to five distinguished individuals representing diverse fields.
The awardees are -

A two-day ministerial conference on "No Money for Terrorism" will be held in New Delhi on 18 and 19 November 2022.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) will host the conference.
This kind of meeting was held for the first time in Paris, France, in 201 8, and for the second time in Melbourne, Australia, in 2019.
India will host the second major international conference on terrorism. On 28 and 29 October 2022, the UN Security Council Counter-Terrorism Committee met outside of New York for the first time.

Global System for Mobile communications Association (GSMA) has selected Airtel CEO Gopal Vittal as its deputy chairman for a two-year term beginning in January 2023.
His appointment makes him the second Indian to serve as the GSMA's Chairman. The first was Bharti Airtel founder and chairman, Sunil Bharti Mittal, who served as the GSMA Chairman in 2017-18.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation stone for 13 road projects worth 5,31 5 crore rupees in Jabalpur and Mandla districts.
The foundation stone was laid at the Police Ground, Mandla, for five road projects totaling 329 km and worth Rs 1261 crores.
Additionally, eight road projects worth Rs 4054 crores were inaugurated at the Jabalpur Veterinary College Ground.

Former Justice Rituraj Awasthi was appointed as Chairperson of the Law Commission.
The Centre has appointed former Karnataka HC Chief Justice, Rituraj Awasthi as the chairperson of the 22nd Law Commission of India.
There are five other members in the commission: Justices KT Sankaran, Professor Anand Paliwal, Professor DP Verma, Professor Raka Arya, and M Karunanidhi.

22nd Law Commission notified on 24th February 2020, which has a term of three years.
After former Supreme Court judge Justice BS Chauhan retired from the panel in 2018, the position has been vacant ever since.

Kerala State Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has won the central government award for best public transport services in the country.
KSRTC has won the award for its ‘City Circular Service (CCS)’ and ‘Gramavandi’ projects.
Gramavandi won the category of 'transport planning with the best public participation', while CCS won the category of 'best public transport system'.
The awards were instituted by the Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry.

The Anthropological Survey of India (ANSI) has recreated the huts of several tribal communities at its different regional centers.
It is a first-of-its-kind bid to showcase the heritage of tribal communities, especially Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs).
These tribal communities are:-Jarawas, Shompen or Shom Pen, Khasis, Dorla & Betta Kuruba.
