• An oil refinery is to be built in Mongolia for the first time by Hyderabad-based Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Ltd (MEIL).
  हैदराबाद स्थित मेघा इंजीनियरिंग एंड इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर लिमिटेड (MEIL) द्वारा पहली बार मंगोलिया में एक तेल रिफाइनरी बनाई जानी है।
• A line of credit will be provided by the central government through an initiative of the Ministry of External Affairs.

• The CRPF has appointed two women officers as Inspectors General (IG) for the first time since they joined the force in 1987.

• Annie Abraham has been appointed IG of Rapid Action Force (RAE) while Seema Dhundia has been posted as IG of the Bihar sector.

• The 2020-21 Performing Grade Index (PGI) that measures district-level school performance has ranked Kerala, Maharashtra, and Punjab at the top of the list. The least-performing state was Arunachal Pradesh.
